How Booking Works

How do I make a booking on JaraStay?+

Simple. Search for your destination, pick your hotel and dates, fill in your details, and pay securely through our platform. You'll receive a booking confirmation instantly via email or phone. Your room is locked in.

Do I need an account to book?+

No account needed. Just search, pick, and pay. Your confirmation and all details are sent directly to your email and phone.

How quickly is my booking confirmed?+

The moment your payment goes through, your booking is confirmed. You'll get a confirmation immediately. Our team also follows up to make sure everything is in order before your arrival.

Can I book for someone else?+

Yes. Just enter the guest's name and contact details during booking. Make sure the name matches the ID they'll present at check-in.

Cancellation & Refunds

What is JaraStay's cancellation policy?+

Free cancellation applies to all bookings cancelled at least 24 hours before check-in. Cancel within 24 hours and the first night's cost is charged. No-shows are non-refundable.

How do I cancel a booking?+

Contact us via email at bookings@jarastay.com or call us directly with your booking reference. We'll process your cancellation immediately.

How long does a refund take?+

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method. We initiate the refund on our end immediately.

Payment & Security

Is it safe to pay on JaraStay?+

Absolutely. All payments are processed through Paystack, one of Africa's most trusted PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. We never store your card details.

Will my card be charged immediately?+

Yes. Payment is collected in full at the time of booking. This guarantees your reservation and locks in your rate.

Can my price change after I've paid?+

Never. Your price is locked the moment your booking is confirmed. It doesn't matter if the hotel changes its rates after — you pay what you were quoted. That's our guarantee.

Hotel Quality & Verification

How does JaraStay verify its hotels?+

Every hotel on JaraStay is personally vetted by our team before going live. We verify the property, confirm room standards match the listing, and sign a formal partnership agreement.

Do you guarantee the best rates?+

Yes. Every hotel partner contractually agrees that our rates are equal to or better than what they offer anywhere else — including their own website or any other booking platform.

Are the photos on JaraStay accurate?+

We require all hotel photos to accurately represent the actual rooms and facilities. Hotels that misrepresent their listings are removed from our platform.

What Happens If Things Go Wrong

What if the hotel overbooks and can't take me?+

This is our problem to solve, not yours. We will arrange equivalent or superior alternative accommodation at no extra cost. If we can't, you get a full refund. Our hotel partners are contractually bound to cover the cost.

What if my room doesn't match the listing?+

Contact us immediately. We will escalate with the hotel on your behalf. You are entitled to either a comparable alternative room or a full refund — your choice.

Who do I contact if I have a problem during my stay?+

Call or WhatsApp us directly. Our team is available to support you in real time. You're not on your own — that's the point of booking through JaraStay.
