How Booking Works

How do I make a booking on JaraStay?+
Search for your destination, pick your hotel and dates, fill in your details, and pay securely through our platform. Your confirmation is sent by email and phone.
Do I need an account to book?+
No. You can book first, then set up your guest account from your booking confirmation link.
How quickly is my booking confirmed?+
Your booking is confirmed after successful payment. Our team also follows up before arrival to make sure the hotel is ready for you.
Can I book for someone else?+
Yes. Enter the guest's name and contact details during booking, and make sure the name matches the ID they will present at check-in.

Cancellation & Refunds

What is JaraStay's cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation applies to bookings cancelled at least 24 hours before check-in. Cancel within 24 hours and the first night is charged. No-shows are non-refundable.
How do I cancel a booking?+
Contact us via email at info@jarastay.ng or call us directly with your booking reference. We'll process your cancellation immediately.
How long does a refund take?+
Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days back to your original payment method after we initiate the refund.

Payment & Security

Is it safe to pay on JaraStay?+
Yes. Payments are processed through Paystack. JaraStay does not store your card details.
Will my card be charged immediately?+
Yes. Payment is collected in full at the time of booking so your reservation can be guaranteed.
Can my price change after I have paid?+
No. Your price is locked once your booking is confirmed. You pay what you were quoted.

How does JaraStay verify its hotels?+
Hotels are reviewed before going live, with room standards, photos, and commercial terms checked by the JaraStay team.
Do you guarantee the best rates?+
Hotel partners agree that JaraStay rates should be equal to or better than rates available through other channels.
Are the photos on JaraStay accurate?+
Hotels are expected to provide photos that accurately represent their rooms and facilities. Misleading listings can be removed.

If Something Goes Wrong

What if the hotel overbooks and cannot take me?+
We work with the hotel to arrange equivalent or better accommodation, or process a refund where needed.
What if my room does not match the listing?+
Contact us immediately. We will escalate with the hotel and work toward a comparable room or refund outcome.
