JaraStay is a hospitality booking platform operated by Tyon Solutions, a company registered in Nigeria. We act as an intermediary between guests and hotel partners, facilitating bookings and processing payments on behalf of both parties. By accessing or using JaraStay (jarastay.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking on JaraStay. By using our platform, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are making a booking on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their authority to do so and that they have agreed to these terms.

When you submit a booking on JaraStay, you are making an offer to reserve a hotel room at the displayed price. Your booking is confirmed only when: — Your payment has been successfully processed through Paystack, and — You have received a booking confirmation from JaraStay via email or phone. Until you receive confirmation, your room is not guaranteed. JaraStay reserves the right to decline a booking in exceptional circumstances, in which case a full refund will be issued. All confirmed bookings are binding on both the guest and the hotel partner.

All prices displayed on JaraStay are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. JaraStay guarantees that the rates displayed on our platform are equal to or better than the rates available directly through the hotel or any other booking channel. Payment is collected in full at the time of booking through our secure payment partner, Paystack. JaraStay does not store your card details. Prices are locked at the time of booking confirmation and will not change after that point, regardless of any subsequent price changes.

Free cancellation applies to bookings cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time. A full refund will be processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of check-in are non-refundable. The cost of the first night will be charged as a cancellation fee. No-shows (failure to arrive without cancellation) are treated as late cancellations and are non-refundable. To cancel a booking, contact us at bookings@jarastay.com or call us directly with your booking reference number. Refunds are processed by JaraStay and credited back to the original payment method. JaraStay is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or card issuer.

All hotels listed on JaraStay are personally verified by our team before being made available on the platform. In the event that a hotel is unable to accommodate your confirmed booking due to overbooking or any other reason attributable to the hotel, JaraStay will: — Arrange equivalent or superior alternative accommodation, or — Process a full refund at no cost to you. If the room you receive does not match the description or standard displayed on our platform, please contact us immediately. We will work with you and the hotel to resolve the issue. JaraStay acts as your advocate in any dispute with a hotel partner.

As a guest, you agree to: — Provide accurate personal information when making a booking — Arrive on or before the agreed check-in time, or notify the hotel of any delay — Comply with the hotel's rules, policies, and check-out times — Treat hotel property and staff with respect — Be responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during your stay JaraStay reserves the right to cancel a booking and withhold refunds where a guest has provided false information or behaved in a manner that causes harm to a hotel partner.

JaraStay acts as a booking intermediary. We are not the hotel and are not responsible for the day-to-day operations, quality, or conduct of hotel partners beyond our verification process. JaraStay's liability to you is limited to the total amount paid for your booking. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of enjoyment or inconvenience. We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, or widespread public health emergencies.

All content on the JaraStay platform, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of Tyon Solutions or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any JaraStay content without our prior written consent.

Your use of JaraStay is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

JaraStay reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration in Lagos State, Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State shall have jurisdiction over any matter that cannot be resolved by arbitration.
